COVID VACCINATION INFORMATION:
Everyone has an important part to play and we’re asking people to remember the following:
· please DO NOT contact the NHS to seek a vaccine, we will contact you;
· when we do contact you, please attend your booked appointments;
· and please continue to follow all the guidance to control the virus and save lives.
We understand that many patients have received letters from NHS England inviting them to book an appointment for their Covid-19 vaccination via the national NHS booking system at the Mansfield or Derby Arena mass vaccination sites.
Limes Medical Centre is not directly involved with the national NHS booking system; we are working with the South Hardwick Primary Care Network to offer Covid-19 vaccinations at Sharley Park Leisure Centre. We are contacting all eligible patients as per the Government guidelines via telephone or text message, offering an appointment at Sharley Park. If you would prefer to attend Sharley Park please wait for us to contact you.
If you have booked an appointment through the national NHS Booking system at an alternative venue, unfortunately we will be unable to help you with any queries.
Please ensure you make a note of the venue your vaccination will take place, as you will also need to attend the same site for your second vaccination.
If you already have an appointment at Sharley Park and have since received an NHS England letter, please do not worry, your appointment is still booked and will go ahead at Sharley Park as planned.
If you have already had your first vaccination at Sharley Park and have received an invitation letter to go to a national centre you do not need to book another appointment and you are not being asked to attend sooner for your second vaccination. All vaccinations will be given twelve weeks apart and your appointment for your second vaccination will have already been booked with us at Sharley Park. Please keep that appointment.
